We wanted to share with you our memories since we began offering media services so we decided to include a scrapbook on our web site. Below is only a fraction of the projects we've been involved in. You will find pictures from marching band competitions, weddings, arena football games, plays, and a whole lot more.

September 6, 2008: Look Mom Media unveils a new web site design. It's the first major update since April 6, 2003. Along with the new web site is the introduction of additional services. Look Mom Media now provides photography and design services to its customers. The management has also changed. Shane McNeill is now the sole owner of Look Mom Media. To top it off, Look Mom Media introduces its MySpace, Facebook, and YouTube pages as additional avenues of distributing information and samples of its work.

June 20, 2006: Kyle got commissioned by the U.S. Army Aviation Engineering Directorate (AED) , part of the Army Missile Research & Development Engineering Command (AMRDEC) to produce a short video showcasing the engineering abilities of the AED Functional Groups such as: Aeromechanics, Structures and Materials, Propulsion, Mission Equipment, and Maintenance Engineering. The video also showcases the major Army helicopter platforms including the: UH-60 Blackhawk, AH-64 Apache, CH-47 Chinook, and OH-58 Kiowa Warrior, in addition to fixed wing aircraft like the C-23 and Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs).

October 25, 2005: On October 15, 2005 we filmed a wedding which made national headlines, after the couple went to Cancun for their honeymoon and became stranded in Mexcio during Hurricane Wilma. LMV provided footage, at the request of the family, to the CBS News Magazine "Inside Edition". Kyle made a special trip to Birmingham on the afternoon of the 25th, and the completed segment aired that same day at 3:30 PM. Even the graphics on the website came from footage LMV had taken. We are happy to report that the couple is now safe at home in North Alabama.

January 26, 2005: Happy New Year to everyone! We have several exciting projects in the works already. Quick recap, the fall marching band competitions went extremely well. We also purchased laptop computers, so we can record direct to disc in the field. It is very nice indeed!

Dec 7 , 2004: The Vanderbilt Marching Invitational orders were shipped. The 2 boxes on the left are "individual" shipments, the 5 stacked boxes went to the schools with the largest orders for distribution.

October 30, 2004: After the Phil Campbell High School Marching Band Competition, the LMV crew enjoyed a delicious dinner at Logan's Roadhouse. (L to R : Shane, Paul, Jeff K., Kyle, Sarah, Jeff T., Jenna, and Tag)

July 7, 2004: The busy summer season is almost over. We are in the process now of finishing up three dance recitals and are gearing up for the Fall high school marching band competitions.

June 4, 2004: River City Performing Arts Dance Recital at The Princess Theater in Decatur, Alabama. Meet part of our hired help for the day, Johnna and Jonathan. Also thanks to Aaron and Carson for working the cameras at the wedding and dance recital.

March 17, 2004: Completed negotiations for filming this years Tennessee Valley Vipers arena football promo/highlight video. Shooting starts in April.

February 14, 2004: The WHNT Channel 19 Kids Expo at the Von Braun Center South Hall.

February 3, 2004: We started the year running and are proud to announce that we have brought our digital media skills into the high-end real estate market. Our first project was putting together a DVD promo for a Half-Million dollar lake home in a gated community in Tennessee. More to come as we delve deeper into this new and exciting market!

January 23-25, 2004: LMV spends a weekend at a phenomenal lake home tucked away in the hills of middle Tennessee. Naturally, we were there working. For the reasonable price of $495,000 you can own this 3000 sq ft home!

This is the finished studio style room downstairs with the covered patio outside 2 sets of double doors, complete with it's own bath, full kitchen, dining room, living room, and bed area.

Here we have the spacious living room. kitchen, and dining room on the main level. There is an absolutely breathtaking view of the mountains out of the windows.

October 11, 2003: Tag, Kyle, Shane, Melody, Tracy, and Jeff work the Hartselle High School marching band competition.

September 30, 2003: Last weekend was very busy for us. We filmed our first show at Big Spring Jam in Huntsville, and also filmed our first "themed" wedding; all in the same day!

August 17, 2003: Kevin Guy was selected as the Arena 2 Football League coach of the year. Video footage used in the League awards ceremony video was provided by Look Mom Videos

July 15, 2003:  Over the past 2 months we have been working almost around the clock on various projects. Both dance recitals have been completed and delivered and now our focus is on wedding videos again. On the hardware front, we purchased a DVD duplicator and are working on offering DVD and CD duplication services.

May 18, 2003: This past week has been incredibly busy! Our first batch of company clothes arrived on Thursday, and Kyle picked them up in Huntsville. The shirts are awesome! We have spent all weekend working on a production of the "Dancer's Inc" dance recital. The footage turned out great! Four cameras were used for this event.

April 25, 2003: The filming of the Tennessee Valley Vipers arena football games has started. The footage we have shot is spectacular! Over the past month, we've been asked to film several funerals. We are currently working on putting together a standard contract and information for this service. Received information on possibly filming and working the video aspects of a major church convention in Orlando later this year featuring over 800 churches.

April 11, 2003: Shane, Tag, and Kyle make their way to the Von Braun Center in Huntsville, AL to film the first game of the Tennessee Valley Vipers arena football season. Below, Kyle gets ready with the XL1s, and then there are some players warming up.

April 6, 2003: We are excited to be unveiling our new website for our customers. This is the start of our 3rd season in business and we are very excited about the opportunities which are already presenting themselves to us!

March 17, 2003: we received the clothing sample for our logo.

March 14, 2003: Look Mom Videos is chosen to be the videographer for the Tennessee Valley Vipers season highlight video.

March 9, 2003: In order to prepare for the upcoming season filming our first professional level sporting event, LMV attended a taping of the Women's Professional Billiards Association (WPBA) Delta Classic 9-Ball Championship in Robinsonville, MS. ESPN was on hand and we got to get a behind the scenes peek at how the pros set up for a broadcast. The picture below is of Kyle with Allison Fisher. She won the tournament.

July 26,2002: we visited with financial talk show host Dave Ramsey in Nashville Tennessee. As part of an effort to provide our wedding clients with a thoughtful gift, we worked a deal with Dave and his sales division, and now provide all wedding clients with Dave's Financial Peace Wedding Package which consists of books, software, and instructional video on money management.

July 26, 2002: Our setup for the play Laugh Out Loud . You can see we have 3 tripod mounted cams and then one extra cam for 'other' bonus footage.

 

March 12, 2002: We signed up for this free event to learn about the latest non-linear video editing products from Pinnacle, and ended up buying some new equipment. The purchases have increased our efficiency significantly.
