Look Mom Media provides videography, photography, and design services. The company first began as Look Mom Videos in May 2000 with a couple of wedding video projects. Today, the company continues to deliver wedding videos along with other event videos, slideshows, professional photography, and design services for those needing web sites, newsletters, or other design needs.
Our local service area is North Alabama and Middle Tennessee but we're certainly open to projects outside of those areas. We have completed projects in Georgia, West Virginia, Texas, North Carolina, and other places.
In 1999, a group of friends got together to begin working on what would become an Internet hit. It was a show about friends. The name of that show was Look Mom, No Life.

| This picture was taken at the same table that most of the meetings took place for Look Mom Videos in the first few years of business. In this picture are some friends who helped get it all started. The show began taping in a very small apartment in Moulton, Alabama. The first 2 minutes or so of the show was filmed in about 3 hours. All of this was on a 8mm camcorder belonging to Kyle Root's father. Frustrated by the poor quality, Kyle bought a much better camera which was, ironically (or not ironic to all the actors), never used for a taping of Look Mom, No Life.
At a dinner table while sitting at Applebee's in Decatur, Shane McNeill explained to Kyle how foolish he was to spend a large sum of money on a camera that he didn't have a plan on how to earn a return on his investment. That's when Shane thought about his past video editing experience and Kyle's expertise with audio. Shane then recommended to Kyle that they form a wedding video business. Only thing missing were the weddings. Welcome Tag Glenn.
Tag was a friend of the pair and was already doing wedding videos but on equipment that was soon to become antiques. Tag brought the all-around experience and creativity that was much needed in order for the business to succeed.

The three friends had a few business meetings and Look Mom Videos, a derivative of the original show title Look Mom, No Life, was born.
As you can see for yourself on the Portfolio page, the venture was a wonderful success. In 2000, we completed eight wedding projects, one of which was Tag's very own. Since that time, we are proud to bolst over 200 projects completed expanding into other areas such as recitals, concerts, training videos, documentaries, and sports videos.
In August 2001, Shane moved to Nashville, Tennessee and began expanding the service area. We now serve North Alabama and Middle Tennessee.
Today, Look Mom Videos provides greater services and is operating under the name Look Mom Media. Look Mom Media is wholly owned by Shane K. McNeill and offers videography, photography, and design services. Tag Glenn and Kyle Root still provide services through Look Mom Media as needed.
